Join us for our annual Spooktacular—a fun, family-friendly Halloween celebration at the YMCA! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success. Volunteers will assist with event setup and cleanup, handing out candy to children, and facilitating games and activities throughout the night. The event will take place from 5:00-7:00PM. Volunteers please plan to arrive around 4:00 to assist with set up. This is a great opportunity to give back, spread some Halloween cheer, and help create a memorable experience for families in our community. Costumes are welcome (as long as they’re family-appropriate)! Because this event is open to the community, members and nonmembers, please feel free to bring friends and family to join in the fun! Welcome! We are looking for volunteers who are skilled in many things and are adaptable. This volunteer role will focus on volunteers performing general duties as assigned. We have needs for volunteers to assist with event support, reading to youth in the playcenter, and helping with other program needs. If you are adaptable and enjoy being of service and making an impact, this is the opportunity for you! You will be required to complete a Background Check, Youth and Teen Safety Policy Training (20 min video), Youth and Teen Safety Policy Waiver, and Volunteer Waiver upon signing up for this project.
