Join us for the annual North Fulton Special Needs Expo & Fun Day, proudly sponsored by the Ed Isakson/Alpharetta Family YMCA in partnership with the cities of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton and Roswell. This event brings together resources from our community for education, recreation, networking, advocacy and FUN to support the needs of neurodivergent youth, young adults and their families in North Fulton County. Healthy Kids Day® is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. For over 30 years, YMCAs and their communities hosted free community events aimed to inspire kids and families to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months and beyond. This event will be held Saturday, April 18th from 11 AM to 2 PM and we will have volunteer shifts available that coincide with this time frame. Responsibilities Volunteers may assist with various operational areas: Member Engagement, Wellness, and Aquatics Member Engagement: Activities may include welcoming members, assisting staff during member engagement or fundraising events, helping with registration or sign‑in, distributing materials, and providing general event support. Wellness: Responsibilities may include helping with wellness inventory organization, supporting special wellness activations, and assisting during fundraising or health‑focused events. Aquatics: Support may include event setup and breakdown, participant check‑in, crowd flow assistance, and general on‑deck or administrative support as assigned by staff.
