As a Esports Volunteer at the YMCA, you support the successful operation of youth and esports programs. Responsibilities include monitoring games to ensure a safe, fair, and positive environment for participants, as well as operating throughout events. Volunteers help maintain game flow, communicate with scholars and staff when needed, and uphold YMCA values by promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among players and spectators.

Youth & Teen Safety Requirements (Praesidium-Aligned) To ensure the highest standard of safety for all participants, all volunteers must complete the following requirements prior to participating: Volunteer Waiver & Code of Conduct Youth & Teen Safety Policy Acknowledgement Background Check Clearance Youth & Teen Safety Training (Praesidium e-learning module) Coach Code of Conduct These requirements are mandatory and help ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for youth, teens, and vulnerable adults.
