Help inspire the next generation of athletes by serving as a Bike Coach for the Peach Kids Triathlon Training Program at Wade Walker Family Y! Volunteers will support youth participants as they build confidence and skills in biking as part of their triathlon preparation. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with youth, encouraging active lifestyles, and creating a positive, supportive environment. Project Details: Location: Wade Walker Family Y Parking Lot Season: July – August (2 months) Volunteer Commitment: Approximately 10 hours total (weekly support) What You’ll Do: Guide participants through basic bike safety, handling, and skill-building exercises Encourage and motivate youth in a fun and inclusive environment Help ensure a safe, organized training space Serve as a positive role model for participants Volunteer Requirements: Minimum age: 18 Comfortable working closely with youth Completion of required onboarding steps: Background Check Youth & Teen Safety Training Youth & Teen Safety Waiver Heads Up Concussion Training Coach Code of Conduct Volunteer Capacity: 1–3 volunteers needed Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or simply passionate about youth development and wellness, your time and energy will make a meaningful impact on these young athletes as they prepare for their triathlon experience.
