Food Distribution Volunteer Opportunity Help us support neighbors in our community by volunteering at an upcoming food distribution! Volunteers will play a key role in preparing and distributing fresh produce to families and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for all. Wade Walker Park Family YMCA Monthly Food Distribution, every 2nd Friday of each month – 2026 Volunteer Shift: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities Volunteers will assist with: Event setup prior to the distribution Bagging and organizing produce Loading food into cars during the drive‑through distribution Event breakdown and cleanup following the distribution ✨ Note: This role will include moderate to heavy lifting, so volunteers should be comfortable with physical activity. Volunteers Needed 5–10 volunteers Your time and support will make a big difference for families in our community! Ongoing Opportunities This food distribution will take place every second Friday of the month, with additional special holiday food giveaways planned throughout the year. Volunteers who are interested in recurring opportunities will be kept informed as future dates are scheduled. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier community!
