Coaching is a unique opportunity to instill positive values and help kids develop healthy habits that extend far beyond the playing field. Our coaches provide a welcoming atmosphere, teach fundamentals of the game and promote the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork. Location: Carl E. Sanders Family Ymca at Buckhead Volunteer Coach Responsibilities: *Instruct players in the fundamentals of Basketball while promoting good sportsmanship *Hold team practices 1 hour every week and coach games *Communicate with team members and parents *Share praise and build confidence in young athletes *Promote an inclusive and positive experience *Live YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, & Responsibility Season Dates: November 17th, 2025 – February 15th, 2026 One Practice and One Game Per Week 8-Week Season (with breaks for the holiday season)
