YMCA of Metro Atlanta Days of Service 2025 Join the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, along with our partners for our annual Days of Service—a two-day event dedicated to giving back and building stronger communities across metro Atlanta. Location(s): Cascade Spring Nature Preserve 2852 Cascade Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30311 Date & Time: Friday, September 12, 2025 | 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Project Overview Join us for a morning of community service at one of Atlanta’s hidden gems—Cascade Springs Nature Preserve! Together, we’ll help restore the beauty of the trails and waterways by removing litter and debris. This effort will not only protect wildlife and natural habitats but also ensure the preserve remains a clean, welcoming space for all visitors. Volunteer Tasks • Collecting trash along trails and near waterways • Helping to keep the preserve safe and beautiful for the community Supplies & Support All supplies will be provided by Keep Atlanta Beautiful Commission (KABC), including: • Gloves • Litter pickers • Trash bags Parking Instructions Free parking is available on-site at the Cascade Springs Nature Preserve parking lot located at 2852 Cascade Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30311. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in. Look for volunteer coordinators near the trail entrance. What to Bring & Wear • Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work • Closed-toe shoes (recommended for walking on trails) • A refillable water bottle • Sunscreen and bug spray as needed We’re excited to see you out on the trails making a difference! 🌿♻️ Why Volunteer?
