YMCA of Metro Atlanta Days of Service 2025 Join the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, along with our partners for our annual Days of Service—a two-day event dedicated to giving back and building stronger communities across metro Atlanta. Date(s): Friday, September 12, 2025 Location(s): Wade Walker Park Family Y 5605 Rockbridge Road Stone Mountain, GA 30088 Project Description: Volunteers will play a vital role in supporting families through the Y’s grocery distribution initiative. Tasks include setting up stations, sorting and bagging groceries, distributing grocery boxes to families, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all participants. Volunteer Shifts: 10:30AM – 12:30PM Set up stations Sort and bag groceries Assist with grocery box distribution 12:30PM – 2:30PM Sort and bag groceries Assist with grocery box distribution Tear down stations and clean up Impact: Your time and effort will help provide essential groceries to families in need, ensuring access to nutritious food and relieving the burden of food insecurity.
