Coaching is a unique opportunity to instill positive values and help kids develop healthy habits that extend far beyond the playing field. Our coaches provide a welcoming atmosphere, teach fundamentals of the game and promote the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork. Volunteer Coach Responsibilities: Instruct players in the fundamentals of Soccer while promoting good sportsmanship Hold team practices once per week and coach games Communicate with team members and parents Share praise and build confidence in young athletes Promote an inclusive and positive experience Live YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, & Responsibility
