Welcome! Are you ready for a summer full of adventure, learning, and making a difference? We’re looking for enthusiastic and dynamic volunteers to join our summer camp team! As a Summer Camp Leader, you’ll have the chance to work directly with youth ages 12-18, helping them discover new skills, build lasting friendships, and grow in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re into arts & crafts, sports, or leadership development, if you are adaptable and enjoy being of service and making an impact, there’s a place for you here! You will be required to complete a Background Check, Youth and Teen Safety Policy Training (20 min video), Youth and Teen Safety Policy Waiver, and Volunteer Waiver upon signing up for this project. Keeping our youth and teens safe is a top priority and we appreciate you for making the commitment to do the same!
1. Support Youth Development: Assist in daily programming focused on life skills, social-emotional learning (SEL), and academic tutoring for youth participants. 2. Promote Safety and Inclusion: Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all youth participants. 3. Enhance Participant Well-being: Provide support to ensure the emotional, social, and academic growth of youth, contributing to a positive and supportive atmosphere. 4. Foster Team Collaboration: Work closely with staff to maintain a coordinated effort in delivering programming and ensuring all youth needs are met effectively.
