Cecil Pruett Community Center Family YMCA Project Title: Cherokee County Violence Awareness Community Project Description: Join us for a meaningful volunteer opportunity with the Cherokee County Violence Awareness Community Project. We need 5-12 dedicated volunteers to assist with painting and cleaning 30+ wooden cutouts that symbolize the lives lost to domestic violence in Cherokee County. Details: Date: Friday, September 13, 2024 Shift: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: Cherokee County Violence Center What to Expect: Activity: Painting and cleaning wooden cutouts to honor and raise awareness about domestic violence. Lunch and Learn: A lunch and learn session will follow the project, providing an opportunity to discuss the impact of the project and learn more about domestic violence prevention.
