Welcome, volunteers! We are so excited to have you volunteer for the Covington Family Y's Days of Service project. Please review the details of the volunteer opportunities listed below. Once reviewed, please select the service activity that you would like to participate in by signing up for the respective role and shift designated for your preferred engagement/activity. Upon signing up, you will be prompted to complete our required volunteer waiver and our Youth and Teen Safety Policy Waiver. Covington Family YMCA Y Priority: Community Project Title: 2024 CPD Fuzz Run Description: The Covington Police Department Fuzz Run is the largest participatory event in Covington, Georgia year after year. The Fuzz Run is a community event for all ages and all types of runners and walkers. Start race day with the Redbird Run – a fun run for children ages five and under. Then stay for the one-mile fun run and the exciting 5K race. The Fuzz Run also features the Expo. Meet local business owners and learn about all the products and services they offer to Covington and the surrounding area. The Expo starts on the Friday before the race and continues on Saturday’s race day. Shifts available for expo/packet pickup on Friday (time slots not announced yet) as well as Saturday race day volunteer spots. Please contact Rachel Floyd for time slots (rachelf@ymcaatlanta.org).
