YMCA of Metro Atlanta Days of Service 2026 Join the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, along with our partners for our annual Days of Service—a two-day event dedicated to giving back and building stronger communities across metro Atlanta. Project Overview Join us for a meaningful day of service at the Northwest Family YMCA as part of YMCA Days of Service! Together, we’ll enhance our outdoor spaces and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and community members to enjoy. This “Beautify the Y Day” project focuses on hands-on improvement efforts that directly impact the experience of everyone who walks through our doors. Whether you’re refreshing shared spaces or helping keep our grounds clean, your time and energy will make a visible and lasting difference. Project Details Date: Friday, September 11 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: Northwest Family YMCA Volunteer Roles & Project Activities Volunteers will have the opportunity to support one of the following project areas: Pressure Washing Sidewalks (2–3 volunteers) Help clean and restore high-traffic walkways to ensure a safe and welcoming entrance for members and guests. Spreading mulch and pine straw, trimming back the decorative trees Refresh outdoor seating areas to create inviting spaces where families can gather and connect. Painting parking lot space curbs Clear debris, tidy shared spaces, and help maintain areas used for recreation and community programming.
