We’re seeking dedicated volunteers to support an upcoming Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Screening Event, in partnership with Bridge of Life by DaVita, focused on expanding access to early detection and kidney health education in our community. 📍 Event Details Date: Thursday, April 23 Location: The Villages at Carver Family YMCA 1600 Pryor Rd SW Atlanta, GA 30315 💙 About the Event Thanks to your support, this event will provide rapid CKD assessments to community members, helping identify early signs of kidney disease and related risk factors. In addition to on-site health screenings, participants will receive: Personalized kidney health education Prevention tools and informational materials Referrals and resources to support their ongoing health journey Your time and talents will play a critical role in advancing health equity and empowering individuals with knowledge to take charge of their kidney health. 🙌 Volunteer Roles Volunteers will assist in a variety of roles, which may include: Participant check-in and flow support Screening assistance (as appropriate) Health education and materials distribution Language support and general event assistance If you are able to provide bi‑ or multilingual support or hold medical or health-related certifications, please let us know when you sign up—we would love to leverage your skills. ✅ Volunteer Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working in a community health setting Medical background not required (training and guidance will be provided on-site) 🌟 Thank You Thank you for being part of our volunteer team and for helping bring critical kidney health services to our community.
