Decatur Family YMCA 

The Decatur Family Y has a long-standing partnership with the International Community School (ICS). ICS is a K-5 public charter school that brings together more than 400 refugee, immigrant and local students, representing more than 30 nationalities and speaking 25 languages. We are excited to help the school with four outside beautification projects. Volunteers are needed to mulch garden paths and the playground, repair and refence garden beds, paint benches and more. All ages are welcome but children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please sign up below for an AM shift, a PM shift, or both! Volunteers of all ages are welcome Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult Shifts & Timing: Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Afternoon Shift: 11:00 PM – 1:00 PM What to Bring & Wear: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty Closed-toe shoes Sunscreen and a hat (if needed) Refillable water bottle Additional Information: All materials and tools will be provided Volunteers should check in upon arrival for instructions Thank you for helping create a welcoming and beautiful environment for the students at ICS!
