Welcome! We are looking for volunteers who are skilled in many things and are adaptable. This volunteer role will focus on volunteers performing general duties as assigned. We have needs for volunteers to assist with event support, academic support, and helping with other program needs. If you are adaptable and enjoy being of service and making an impact, this is the opportunity for you! You will be required to complete a Background Check, Youth and Teen Safety Policy Training (20 min video), Youth and Teen Safety Policy Waiver, and Volunteer Waiver upon signing up for this project. Keeping our youth and teens safe is a top priority and we appreciate you for making the commitment to do the same!
1. Support Youth Development: Assist in daily programming focused on life skills, social-emotional learning (SEL), and academic tutoring for youth participants. 2. Promote Safety and Inclusion: Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all youth participants. 3. Enhance Participant Well-being: Provide support to ensure the emotional, social, and academic growth of youth, contributing to a positive and supportive atmosphere. 4. Foster Team Collaboration: Work closely with staff to maintain a coordinated effort in delivering programming and ensuring all youth needs are met effectively.
